Cupcakes

Walked over to Betty's Girl Boutique this afternoon to make a consultation. I adore her and must admit to shamelessly drooling over everything in her store. She's a very busy lady seeing as how she does all her work herself. She laughed when I asked if her apprentices take on any of the load. Alterations are free with any purchase or project and she quoted my dress to under three hundred! I floated home. That store is like a little cupcake that satisfies with every small bite. I believe she can make my dreams come true....
After I forced myself on outta there I walked home and had a nice little conversation with my friend Tess. My little yellow bird. I miss her. She is and always has been my anchor. But the chat lasted the duration of my walk home and I realized I didn't appreciate my time outdoors. I slept until 11 o'clock this morning which is a direct product of my insomnia in combination with my disgustingly comfortable bed. I didn't work out or hike or clean or do anything I had planned. Now there's no time seeing as how I picked up a night shift for some extra cash. At least that can be considered somewhat productive.
Well to hell with beating myself up! I enjoyed the my lazy day reading and lounging and feeling slightly on the creative side. I suppose that is a direct result of this marvelous sunshine! This positive outlook is coasting. Let's hope it sticks! I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I'll have all my bills paid by that time and Sunday I have no other plans except to do whatever I deem necessary. Which means hanging with my dude and creating my own little adventures. I've been feeling the spontaneity of spring so we'll see what I come up with. I like a challenge anyhow.
Monday is Solano College! Pretty excited about this. Fingers crossed!
Well now I'm off to feed the masses...or lack thereof.
